In this workshop the student will be able to create a realistic looking bronze patina or finish on their sculptures using a combination of bronze powders, shellac and oil paints. This finish can be applied to any sculpture or bas relief made of clay, plaster, paper or concrete. Its more efficient to work on more than one piece at a time because there is a bit of waiting time between applications. This method is messy but fun and easy, so be prepared by wearing old clothes. Bring two or more sculptures, two paintbrushes (approx. 1" wide) for oils, and a bag lunch.
